A true horse story

This story is called

CLEVER HANS

A long time ago in Berlin (the capital of Germany) there lived a man. The man owned a horse called Hans. Hans was a very clever horse. His owner who was called Mr. Downey was very proud of him because was very clever. Hans knew everything. Well thats what Mr. Downey thought but you'll find out later in the story. One day Mr.Downey asked Hans to cout to ten. Hans tapped his hoof(his foot)ten times. The next day Hans was asked to point out a green ball which was amongst red, yellow, blue and purple balls. Hans kicked the green one. The news of this extroadinary horse traveled quick and he soon had a little audience to watch him. One time Mr. Downey asked Hans to point out a woman in a big flowery hat. Hans walked over to the lady in the big hat. A few months later a scientist came to find out how Hans had become to be a very clever horse. First the scientist asked easy questions and they became harder and harder. The scientist soon discovered that Hans only knew the answers to questions the he knew. Then it finally hit him. Hans read peoples muscle movements. If they asked him to point to a person they could not help to look at that person. If they asked him to point out a colored ball they would look at the correct color without even noticing.
So Hans wasn't a smart horse at all.
He was a muscle reading horse.
